How to Use Contract Upload

Booking a contract is relatively simple, but booking several contracts can be time consuming. The good news is, you can upload all of your contracts in a batch. GPS makes it easy through our Contract Upload feature, which saves you time you can use on other business needs. To successfully upload a contract batch, just follow these steps:


Step 1


Log into FXpert and navigate to Contract tab and click Contract Upload in the dropdown menu.



Step 2


A contract batch can be created by clicking the download icon () to get a batch template form, then completing the required fields. This form will be an excel file prepared with what is required to complete the batch. If you already have the form completed, then skip to Step 4.



Step 3


Complete the required fields and any other fields that you would like to fill. Once the form is completed, save the sheet to your computer. Remember where you save the file to, as you will need to select it when uploading it to FXpert.


Step 4


In order to upload the batch, click the Choose File button. This will open the file explorer. Navigate to the completed batch excel file and click Open. Then confirm whether the desired option is to buy or sell. Once that is done, click Upload. (Keep in mind, if chosen to buy or sell, you will need to create and upload a batch for buying and one for selling separately.)



Step 5


After the batch is uploaded to FXpert, it will indicate that they were uploaded successfully. To view the failed or successful uploads, navigate to the Submit tab.



Step 6


Use the arrows on the left to expand the file and view the uploaded data. If there are errors, an error icon (will appear next to the effected rows. Error information will appear in red text. (For help resolving errors, refer to Contract Upload File Requirements or Contract Upload Help) There is also a status bar to indicate how many rows were successfully uploaded or failed. Uploads can be approved or deleted with the Submit and Delete buttons in the bottom right of the file when expanded. If ready, click Submit.



Step 7


Navigate to the Approval tab for final approval. Expand and review the information. If all is correct, click Approve. If changes need to be made, click Delete to re-upload a revised file, or make needed changes in the Modify tab. If approved, the Contract Upload is complete.
