Balance Reporting is an efficient way to see global bank activity in one, easy-to-use location. A client can view and access both bank balances and banking details for all of their foreign accounts, without having to log into each individual bank platform.

GPS Setup

Clients will need to provide GPS with the following information for each of the bank accounts they would like to access:

  • Bank account number
  • Bank name
  • Currency of the account
  • Which entity the account belongs to (if there is more than one)

Bank Setup

SWIFT MT940

Clients may contact their bank and request that a daily MT940 bank statement be sent via SWIFT to (see sample attached below for reference):

  • GPS Capital Markets Inc.
  • SWIFT Code: GPSXUS55

An MT940 is a standard SWIFT message. There should be no issue with a bank being able to send this message to GPS although each bank may have some fees associated with this service.

Via Bank Upload

Each day, a client may download a batch file from their bank(s) and upload it into the GPS platform. This requires a sample download from each bank platform be sent to GPS for proper set up. GPS will require a lead time to assess the file(s) and ensure compatibility with FXpert.
