Cash Flow Hedging is a new and easy to use tool created by the great minds at GPS. The following information will help enter the forecast amounts and how to review/approve them. In order to access these features, the users account must have the permissions created for the option to be visible. To enable these permissions, contact the Account Executive to find out what is needed. If these permissions are already enabled, the Cash Flow Hedging feature will be available under the Treasury Management tab in FXpert.

Step 1

Select Forecast Entry from the Cash Flow Hedging homepage.

Step 2

Select the Forecast Period, then select the Entity, and then the type Currency. (If no period is available, then one must be created via Period Processing)

Step 3

Enter the corresponding amounts in each column for the appropriate date. The totals will automatically be calculated below.

Step 4

A space is provided for any notes associated with this forecast. Once all information is entered, click Save Forecasts to continue.

Step 5

Return to the Cash Flow Hedging homepage and select Forecast Approval.

Step 6

Select the Forecast Period to populated the saved Forecasts awaiting approval/review. Locate the saved forecast and click Review/Approve to continue.

Step 7

Once the Forecast amounts have been reviewed, click Approve if amounts are correct, or Cancel if amounts need to be corrected. Click Reject to delete the forecast entry. If rejected, the Forecast Entry will need to be resubmitted. If the forecast is approved, then the process for Forecast Entry and Forecast Approval are complete.

Edit a Forecast

If an amount needs to be corrected, click Edit to update the entry with the correct amounts and then click Save Forecasts.

Unapprove Option

Now that the Forecast has been approved, it will await the trade to take place. Until the trade has taken place, the option to Unapprove will be available if needed.
